Help Mari Regain Her Stolen Identity

Acquisition Method: Player must have met Mari through the pickpocket option in the Shopping Hub, then hang out with her 4 times.

Description: Stuck in the facility, Mari has told you her how her identity was stolen before being sold on to Tony B. Offering your help, you’ve contemplated getting it back for her, or maybe working out a deal with the admins.

Outcomes: Betray Mari to Lianna and Mari is removed from the facility, get Mari a job from Lianna, help Mari regain identity papers and her freedom.

Reward: 3000 G.G.P (betray Mari), Mari will help players with other quests (other paths)

Walkthrough

Step 1 - Gaining The Quest

After meeting Mari by attempting to pick-pocket in the main Shopping Hub, players will need to hang out with her 4 times to trigger the quest starting. Upon the quest starting Mari will explain that she had her legal identity papers (and online profiles) stolen from her by Tony B, leading to her having to live in the vents to avoid detection and arrest.

Step 2 - Restore Mari's Identity Papers

To officially restore Mari's identity there are 4 options. There also exists the option to betray Mari outlined in Alternative Step 2 at the end of the walkthrough.

Option 1: Get Mari A Job From Lianna

When approaching Lianna about Mari's problem, the corrupt administrator will offer the player the option for Mari to come work for her as a corporate spy in exchange for getting Mari official identity papers.

Option 2: Pay Lianna

To buy the papers off of Lianna players will need to pay her 3000 G.G.P.

Option 3: Pay Tony B

To buy the papers off of Tony B players will need to pay him 2000 G.G.P, or 1000 G.G.P if the player has managed to get promoted in the Club B Club Girl Job up to the Exhibitionist Club B Club Girl Job tier.

Option 4: Steal Identity Papers From Tony B

Upon talking to Tony B about Mari's problem, the player will have the option of attempting to steal his storage room key card from him. If the player has learned the Trained Pick-pocket trait from Mari, then this will work out fine, and the player will be able to use that key to steal identity papers for Mari. If the player does not have the Trained Pick-pocket trait from Mari, then they will get caught, leading to a body swap with a rich female socialite and the 'bad ending', Ending 11: Identity Theft Sucks.

Step 3 - Turn In The Quest

Upon returning to Mari and telling her that her identification problems are solved, Mari will be extremely happy, though will tell the player she will be remaining where she is for the time being to help them out. If the player solves this quest by getting her the job instead, she'll be less pleased, but will still have some hope for the future. In return for saving her, Mari will (an unlimited number of times) pickpocket certain quest items for the player, such as:

• The lab card used in the Help Alice Gain A Body quest.

• Blackmail to use against Agent Gary in the Rescue Jess quest.

Alternative Step 2 - Inform The Facility About Mari

After meeting Mari, players can instead turn her in to the facility for illegally residing within it without documentation. By reporting her to Lianna the player will receive 3000 G.G.P.
